Cake Baker’s Blog: FindABaker Job Board Started

On the CakeBaker blog, there’s a note about a new job board they’ve started up specifically aimed at helping companies/other developers look for CakePHP experienced coders.

This week there was a discussion in the IRC channel about a missing job board for cake related jobs. Voila, here it is: findABaker. Feedback is as always welcome.

There’s no postings on it yet, but I could definitely see this resource growing right along side the growth of CakePHP. If you’d like to make a posting, you can do so for free up until September 15th - then it’s only $20 USD to post.

Sebastian Bergmann’s Blog: Zend/PHP Conference 2006

Sebastian Bergmann has posted his own announcement about being accepted as a speaker at this year’s Zend/PHP Conference & Expo.

I will present a session titled “Testing PHP Applications with PHPUnit 3″ at this year’s Zend/PHP Conference. The conference will be held in San Jose, CA, the heart of Silicon Valley, from October 30 to November 2, 2006.

He also notes that this talk will be different from his previos PHPUnit talks with more “real world” examples with the help of the eZ components and Zend frameworks.
